This company has been trading from its present address since 1973 when the Directors moved from Berkshire, where they had been building exotic Piper sports cars, to develop a new car in the peace of the Lincolnshire Wolds.
This project was shelved due to the national industrial problems of 1973/74 and the skilled design and manufacturing capacity was diverted to producing luxury baths. Although initially for trade customers, a small retail business grew by word of mouth and was developed to include the supply of all items of bathroom equipment to form complete suites. With the failure of so many trade customers and the emergence of the strong retail market, driven by new tastes and fashions, this activity became dominant and 95% of sales are now direct to the public. A kitchen department was added as many of our customers were self-builders or others who had need of both services. Manufacturing is now limited to small scale production of specialist items for construction, engineering and agriculture. |
